Recently we’ve introduced the JustStartHere star rating system. This identifies which horses we think should be backed/dutched etc. based on weight of money movement. The stars appear on the upcoming races page once the 1 minute prices are in. Backing every 5 star horse with odds of 35 or less in August would have returned a profit of 103 points (based on Betfair 1 minute prices). There were some funny goings on at Kilbeggan tonight. Firstly Tory Hill Lad steamed from a 3 minute price of 60 into a 1 minute price of 44 before winning the 19:20 with a Betfair SP of 53.08. JustStartHere picked this up by recording a high 321 movement value of 2.66 (outlined below):
Then in the 20:25 Flemross went from a 3 minute price of 110 into a 1 minute price of 22 before placing with a Betfair place SP of 13.33 (and very nearly winning with a Betfair SP of 77.66). JustStartHere recorded a 321 movement figure of 8 - the highest we’ve ever seen (highlighted below):
